Seth’s successful dispositions and advisory assignments cover a wide range of lodging properties including limited and full service hotels, distressed hotels, hotels requiring an accelerated time-frame liquidation, land sites for hotel development, and hostels. These successes are augmented by his ongoing experience as a hotel owner. As one of the managing partners of a private-equity firm, Seth successfully raised equity and debt for the acquisition and conversion of a independent hotel to a nationally-franchised, limited-service hotel which he and his partners still own. Seth also has on-property operations experience with the Hyatt Hotels and Resorts. He was employed as a Sales Manager for the 631-room Hyatt Regency Columbus, Ohio. Prior to his sales management position, Seth served as a project manager of the complete renovation of the hotel’s guestrooms. In 2003, Seth graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology’s Dupree College of Management in Atlanta with his Masters in Business Administration in Marketing and Finance. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management from the Ohio State University. He is able to quickly identify what drives the underlying value of a hotel, develop strategies to increase that value and ultimately produce a higher financial return for ownership.
